Sari Beth Weinstein, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Sari Beth Weinstein, a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, was specially selected by Dr. Sarnoff and Dr.Gotkin to provide the very best dermatological care to our patients.
Dr. Weinstein is a graduate of Cornell University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, and was awarded the American Medical Women's Association Award for outstanding scholastic achievement.
She fulfilled her internship in medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and a clinical research fellowship at the University of California in San Francisco. She completed dermatology residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, where she served as chief resident. Most recently, Dr. Weinstein completed a Mohs surgical fellowship with Dr. Sarnoff.
Dr. Weinstein has also conducted extensive research in the treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, and she was an investigator for several drug trials.
Currently, Dr. Weinstein is a clinical instructor of dermatology at New York University, and she oversees NYU residents at the Manhattan VA Hospital once a week. She has also published several papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and delivered presentations on both a local and national level.
Dr. Weinstein is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the Long Island Dermatological Society, Women's Dermatological Society, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
