Deborah S. Sarnoff, M.D., F.A.A.D., F.A.C.P.
As a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at New York University Medical Center, Dr. Sarnoff is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents. She earned her B.A. from Cornell University, summa cum laude, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine with distinction, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Sarnoff received her residency and fellowship training in dermatologic surgery at NYU.
Dr. Sarnoff is considered one of the country’s preeminent laser surgery experts and is frequently interviewed by the most highly profiled national magazines. She has demonstrated her cosmetic procedures on a variety of national television shows, including “The View,” “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” “Dateline” as well as the Discovery Channel, NBC, CBS and ABC news broadcasts.
Over the past 20 years, Dr. Sarnoff has personally treated more than 15,000 skin cancers. She has served as a clinical researcher at the National Institutes of Health and is vice president of the Skin Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Sarnoff is the immediate past president of the Long Island Dermatological Society and has served as vice president of Cancer Care of Long Island's Board of Managers. Dr. Sarnoff and Dr. Gotkin are recipients of CancerCare of Long Island’s 2006 Humanitarian Award for 20 years of dedication in treating and curing skin cancer.
