How does it work?

The area is numbed with local anesthetic and the beam of light - on the tip of a fiber optic wire that is thinner than a strand of uncooked capellini - is inserted through 3 miniscule openings in the skin - under each ear lobe and under the chin.

The laser gently melts the fat away and simultaneously causes new collagen to be produced under the surface of the skin - all of which results in superior skin tightening.

How is this different from liposuction?

Unlike liposuction, there is no suction, no trauma to the tissues and minimal downtime. After the procedure, a chin strap is worn for 3 days to keep the treated area protected and secure - resulting in skin tightening.
