Non-Surgical Neck Rejuvenation with Acelift

Your neck rejuvenation sessions with Acelift will employ all core components in the rejuvenation of your neck. Here’s how it works:

Lasers

Two treatment sessions may be needed for the augmentation of your collagen and elastin in the skin of your neck.  During Session 1, Dr. Sarnoff will use laser lipolysis to literally melt away the fat in your neck. A tiny fiber optic beam of light, as thin as a strand of uncooked capellini, is inserted into the neck.  The heat from the laser will not only melt the fat but will stimulate the undersurface of the skin to make collagen and elastin to tighten the sagging skin.  This is the only component of an AceLift that requires a separate session.

Session two occurs one month later when a CO2 fractional laser is applied to the surface of the skin in a pixilated pattern, which helps further tighten the skin on your neck. This system “is an exceptional device for tissue tightening from the outside in,” says Dr. Sarnoff. “It is ideal for the treatment of sun damage, brown spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity.  I can use this system to smooth out the crepey appearance of the skin of the neck.  For people who have had a lot of sun exposure on their neck, like gardeners, tennis players and golfers, for example, the laser can also help eliminate blotchy redness.  I even like to carry it down to get some improvement on the décolletage.” Session 2 will also target your neck in the following ways:

Injectables

Botox® also has powerful uses when it comes to the neck. The truth is, many thin women have neck cords that are highly visible for the simple reason that they don’t have fat surrounding and camouflaging them. Botox will significantly improve the appearance of vertical neck cords. Botox is the world’s leading treatment for muscle contractions that cause wrinkles and crow’s feet. When Botulinum toxin A (the active ingredient in Botox®) is injected into facial muscles, it reduces their ability to contract, and the result is smoother, younger-looking skin.

According to Dr. Sarnoff, “when Botox® is injected into the platysma muscle of your neck the cords disappear…I have my patients grimace to see where their vertical cords are, and then I deliver Botox® directly into the muscle about every centimeter along the path of the cords.”

“Botox® is the icing on the cake when it comes to increasing the longevity of the results of the laser treatments for the neck.”

Fillers

Belotero® is a great and elegant solution when it comes to filling the horizontal necklace lines on your neck.  These neck creases, which are often inherited, can be softened with fillers.

Topicals

For neck care, Dr. Sarnoff has developed AceLift Neck , a powerhouse, peptide-packed serum that immediately tightens and firms the skin, rebuilds your dermal matrix, and restores elasticity. Key ingredients include acetyl hexapeptide-8, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, and CoQ10.This will help you cleanse and repair your skin during both day and night.
