Vascular Lesion Lasers

Vascular lesion lasers in NY, such as the Pulsed Dye Laser, soften or erase red blemishes on the skin. Most are “broken” blood vessels, known as telangiectasias, and are most commonly present on the face and legs.

Dr. Gotkin and Dr. Sarnoff use these powerful, but highly selective beams of light to specifically target the red pigment in blood that flows through these superficial, but quite annoying little blood vessels. These blood vessels are often associated with rosacea or chronic sun damage, but can be present for no known reason. Lasers like the pulsed dye laser erase these cosmetically irritating blood vessels with speed, little to no discomfort and little recovery. Many of these little vessels can be treated in one session, but sometimes they are so extensive as to require additional treatment sessions to attain your cosmetic goals. Services areas include:
